What Is RDMC

RDMC is a an 18+ convention held every year in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. Attended by Furries and fans of the furry community, it takes over the Baymont by Wyndham Hotel in the city's downtown. Now in its fifth year and with rapidly growing attendance RDMC hosts numerous events from a dance, dealer's room, artist ally, cocktail bar, fursuit parade, pool and hot tub party as well as a few panels during the day.

What sets RDMC apart form other conventons is first, size.  Although the number of attendees grow every year, we focus the event to be geared towards a meet and greet style of event.  Everything is centrally located around the main events area with dealers, games, panels, dance, cash bar and hangouts.  Adding in a trip to Friday night bowling and the Zed Haunted house it all makes for a very unique experience.

Guest of honor

This years Guests of Honor are Valfreya and Theron of Norsewolf Creations.  They both are a great fit for this years GOH for a number of reasons.  They have been supporting our convention for the past few years and the work they have been providing  to our con attendies has been amazing.  From their custom full fursuit commisions to their hand crafted props and custom fursuit sprays, they always aim to please. Check them out in the dealers den, hosting panels throughout the weekend or online to see what they have to offer.

This years official Party Captians are bcbreakaway and Thallanor, both of Edmonton.  Each year we try to feature someone who is a pillar of the furry community and these two are some of the busiest.  Ever heard of a convention called FurEh!?  Yep, these are the guys that make it happen.  Thall single handedly started FurEh! and now with bc as his co-pilot they have grown that event into something we all call our home con.  Add with other events like the FurEh! Christmas party, the Furthest North camp out and ski trip, the local comunity is lucky to have these two great organizers among us.  You will definetly see them around RDMC making sure the party keeps moving.
